Welcome. It's really easy. Just show up at a meeting and/or drive. I can email you a membership form. Dues are $20 per year. I can add you to our email list so you can be reminded of meetings if you would like.

Well, for those that couldn't make it, we had a great meeting with lots of food. Not quite enough people to eat the food, but lots of great food...
Minutes of the SMMCC June Meeting at French Park
In attendance: Mike and Shelia McMillan Morgan and Glenda Everett John and Barbara Rigby Frank and Pam Ambrister Bobbie and Vern Gay Terry Wilson Brad and Mary Cooper Alan and Rachel Rigby Lots and lots of flies...
The meeting was called to order at 7:45 p.m. after the food was served. -Old News/Completed Drives
Mike McMillan reported on the Ice Cream Drive. With confusion over the start time, only Mike and Shelia ,and Frank and Pam Ambrister were at the drive start, so they decided to call off the drive and went to Sullivans for dinner.
-New news/upcoming motoring opportunities
The English Auto Society will have a drive to the Parkway Drive-In Theater in Maryville on July 3rd, meeting at the theater at 6:30. SMMCC members are always welcome on EAS drives.
A drive to the monthly car show in Crossville was discussed as a potential drive for July. Details will follow by either e-mail or on this board.
Alan and Rachel Rigby will be leading the English Auto Society's "Mystery Drive" on September 5th. The drive will depart from the Shoneys on Western Avenue at 6:30 a.m. for a destination only known to the drive leader. There will be some excellent motoring roads on the route, an interesting lunch stop, and the ultimate destination of the drive offers shopping, food, sightseeing and other attractions. If you are interested in joining us please let me know ASAP since we need to book hotel rooms (they will be at or below 65 bucks for the evening if we can book them soon.
The next month's meeting location was proposed and voted on as Puleo's on Merchant's Drive
Several club members including Mike and Shelia M. and Brad and Mary Cooper are heading north to Mini Meet East Meets West in Winona Minnessota this weekend, and all wish them luck on their journey, and we expect a full and entertaining report upon their return.
Mike and Shelia were thanked for bringing the burgers and hot dogs, and Morgan for manning the grill in the wilting heat to prepare them.
-New Purchases/Swap and Sell
Mike McMillan reported on the Japanese Spec Classic Mini he purchased just prior to the Classic Mini 50th in the Smokies. Japanese Spec meaning it has AC, although apparently not working at the moment.
Morgan and Glenda Everett are soon to adopt a baby girl, and as if that were not enough turbulence in their life, he is putting his 1979 Porsche 911SC up for sale, available for $13,000.
The meeting was closed at 8:25 p.m.
