I have just gotten involved with R/C aircraft. Got a couple of helicopters which I can say if you don't drink don't try Helis. Also bought a plane. Took the plane out for it's first flight yesterday evening and going back today. This was my very first flight and had to even fly solo because we could not get the buddy box system to work. I was OK untill the guy teaching me to fly went and sat down. If I had gotten into trouble I would hand the controls to him but he thought I was doing well enough for him to wander off. 
But after about 15 minutes I handed him the controls and he landed it.
