Now I suppose I could actually READ the owner's manual or something, but naaaahhh. Is this a feature or a fluke? When my MINI is completely turned off ... keys in my hand, purse on my shoulder kind of off ... if I hit the headlight lever my lights turn on, and stay on. This is head lights, parking lights and tail lights. They might turn off on their own, but I haven't been patient enough to wait this out. If I turn the key in the ignition, they shut off. Anyone know if it's suppose to do this or is Mr. Q just a possessed vehicle?

Sounds like the "follow me home" lights that stay on for a bit so you can find your way in. They shut off after a few.

Nah ... I thought the follow-me-home lights are when your headlights are on, and you turn the car off, the will stay on for a designated time period. I don't have this feature. Thisd is happening with the lights in the off position and the car not being driven. Another thing it's done a bit weird is the other day I parked the car and turned it off. When I set the e-brake the doors both unlocked. Darned if I can get it to repeat itself. Perhaps I have a gremlin living in my car. Yesterday I held the wings down on my key and only one window opened. gotta love a car with character.

It sounded like follow me home lights that were confused. I believe you do have gremlins.
