Friday night picnic drive to Cumberland Falls on August 7th This is the last night in August with the potential to see the moonbow. Don't know what a moonbow is? Well......show up for the drive and maybe we'll find out.
Bring along a picnic dinner or pick something up on the way to the meeting point. I know it's Friday and you have to work but try as I might, I couldn't change the full moon schedule. Sneak out of work early if you have to. <smile>
Meet at Ingles parking lot on Cedar Lane around 5:30 Launch at 6PM for an evening drive to Kentucky on some nice back roads. No gravel roads. I checked. ;D

Sounds interesting... I don't know what a Moonbow is. I hope to find out on the 7th!! I won't even Google it or anything, really... No, i'm serious, I won't! LOL!!
How long of a drive are we looking at(time, not miles-not sure if the speedo will work that day)... Thanks!

There is only one moonbow in the western hemisphere.
To shorten drive time a bit we will take I75N to Caryville. Then we will hop off for some scenery. The trip up should be just a bit over 2 hours. Return trip can be straight down I75 if desired, approximately 1 hour.

If every thing works out I'll be there, I hope? What time do you think we will be able to see the moonbow..... I know when the moon show up... 9:00, 10:00, midnight? Well it sounds like fun anyway!

Well....we got tired of waiting on the moonbow. It was expected around 12:30 to 1:00am. Ryan did get mooned though. I understand that it might have been one of those things he wished he could unsee. ;D

Great drive Donna! Even with all the drama from the Jaguar. I guess next time we bring a more reliable car like Alan's mini, right?

Amazing drive for Sure!! Becca Too, fell asleep on the ride home. There was a bump on I-75 that woke her up once though... It was a good one. I feel so bad for the little car on those bumps... Thank you Donna for organizing this! You're one Heck of a driver, and a great run leader! What's next???

Stacy and I had a really fun evening. Nice to meet you all. Donna, thank you for organizing the drive. My poor Spyder had all it wanted trying to hang with the Mini (and others) crowd.
John and Barb, please tell David that Soupamoto has his eyes on him!
