Hey all..
I don't HAVE to sell him - hence the price - however, due to the economy and previously outstanding legal issues of my own, he's available for the right buyer.
BO is a 1992 (reg. 1972) Classic Mini, 1275cc SPi engine, 4-speed gearbox. One of the "special editions" done in the early '90s, it's the "British Open" run of them, with the full-length fabric sunroof.
He's got Adjustarides on top of the rubber cones, which are all in great shape. He has a new alternator - enough to power everything in him. 13-inch rims (newly painted!) and tires with low miles on them ('round 10k).
Body is in great shape, with very little rust. A British Racing Green color (of course) with the sunroof, tires, and bumpers done up in black.
Internal is in good shape - the seats have some small stains / marks on them, carpets in great shape. All the wood for the model is in great shape as well.
For extras and such, I've have & done:
1. The rims and bumpers have been painted / powdercoated in black. (The grille still needs to be done.)
2. Have a K&N CAI for the air assembly.
3. Boot liner kit!
4. Added soundproofing (FatMat) to the floors.
5. HID headlights - yes, probably the only Mini in the southeast with 7-inch Xenon headlamps!
6. Extra racing ECU
7. Cat exhaust replacement pipe.
8. Various replacement toggle switches for the dash.
9. New rocker cover gasket.
10. Replacement crank sensor.
11. Has new fuse block installed. Have two replacements for the other fuseblocks under the bonnet.
12. New thermostat & housing.
Things I know need work or don't work as factory intended:
1. The aux cooling fan's relay is missing.
2. #1 isn't needed because the engine runs super cool.
3. Radio is installed, but wires to speakers have been cut.
4. The Adjustarides all move freely - you may want to lower him a little, tho.
5. The sunroof's cable needs to be tightened. It's supposedly an 'easy fix' - I'm still trying to find documentation on it, tho.
Asking exactly what I paid for 'im - $9k. I'm out a lot of money fixing him up and all, which is why I'm asking that. (Also because - like I said - I don't have to sell him.) You will also get all my extra parts for him, which I'm sure I've left something out.
He's located down here in Jasper, GA, and he likes going for rides.
Update - Pictures! These were taken today, he'll be going in for a nice scrubbing soon. His current mileage is 52k.
