Well with the horrible economy as it is. The fact that I work in a factory where they build luxury ski boats and the fact that they have cancelled all of our bonuses and some of our benefits and still layed off an undisclosed amount of people today.(not me) I am worried. So much so I have sold the Stars and Stripes. : I will not be in a Mini for a while. I am stashing away the money in savings just in case it gets worse for my company and they have no other choice. The sad thing is we have lots of boats sitting in limbo waiting for the credit market to unfreeze. These are boats that are sold but the banks have frozen finances until January at least.

Hey Jim sorry to hear about the hard times. Has S and S gone anywhere nearby? You know you are welcome to unscrew up any of our minis if you need something to drive for club events. You're still a hardcore miniac and always welcome at any get togethers. Keep us updated.

It will be returning to FLA. Bob bought it and I believe is planning on flipping it. I appreciate the offer and may take you up on it sometime. I plan on staying involved in the club I will own another someday.

I'm glad to hear you are still employed and sad but completely understanding about S&S. Financial insecurity is what lead me to sell the Lotus and I miss it sorely. Like you....I'll have another.
Hang in there and be sure and hang around some until another Mini darkens your garage door.

Sorry to hear this. Please stay in touch and we too can come up with something to drive if you wish. You know it is you we want to be involved, we don't care what you drive.

Jim - sorry to hear it. Knocking on wood, my industry's safe.. for now - however I know the feeling as I've been considering selling BO to put his payments away for a rainy day. here's to you staying faithfully employed. Mike.
