Well....my first trip in the club, to "Helen", it was wet, cold and there was fog. I almost backed out of the trip....this was going to be my first trip with other MINI's and we were going on the Dragon in the RAIN... We were hydroplaning just before we got to the Dragon, so I was thinking we were going to slow down through the Dragon......BOY!!! I was wrong!! I was in the middle, queenB dropped a few gears and off we went!! dwebber18 on my rear. Everything in my passenger seat ended up on the floor board and my small ice chest was rolling around from side to side, we had the Dragon to ourselves!!! queenB sure can drive in the rain, if it had been dry, I think I would have had trouble keeping...........Boy I had Fun!! I finely blinked my eyes and we were at Deal's Gap. Buy the way it only took 2 hr and 50 min to get to Helen from weigels in the rain.
Met new MINI friends took some photos of those great looking MINI's, had lunch with queenB, dwebber18 and seven other friends. I also did some shopping.... three kinds of fudge, I needed the sugar.
Around 3:00 I headed to Cumming GA to spend sometime with my Daughter and Family. Sunday evening in the Snow back to TN.
I had lots of Fun, when do we get to do it again?

Oh, well sorry we forgot to tell u about Donna - aka the queenb and Casper. Let's just say she is experienced with Casper and enjoys straightening out the road in front of her. And if you are with Capser and its mate, say goodbye. Unless they want u to keep up that is. They enjoy a spirited ride through the country side. Unfortunately for me, I get car sick DRIVING through the Dragon.

She really means that sticker in her back window (Don't try to follow me, you'll skid off the road). The really scary bit is that her husband is so much faster, he's left parts of his own car behind on the dragon. Glad to hear you enjoyed your first drive with the club! Hope to see you out on some more in the future.

That gives me a good idea for another club meeting. How to drive your MINI like a MINI by Donna and David, haha. It was a good time and caused me to spend more money on my MINI this week, I hate MINI events, they are going to bankrupt me

So....what you are trying to tell me is?; She could have ran off and left us..... maybe I should say "me", dwebber was on my bumper alot!... Casper/queenb could have left "me" anytime she wanted! .......Nooooo...... it was raining and there was fog... and I didn't skid off the road! I did have some trouble with my glasses.... for some reason queenb was faraway one sec., then close up, faraway, close up ect. and my side mirrors were saying "objects in mirror are closer than they A...real close!" Next time I'll be ready! I will rotate my tires, check the air pressure, clean the windows and my glasses. Also duct tape everything down in the MINI including Me!........NEXT TIME...... Sorry to hear you had to spend more money on the MINI... Let me GUESS??? TIRES! or BRAKES?

Well tires happened Sunday and they are fantastic. But after seeing all the other MINIs and listening to Donna's exhaust on the way up I have ordered a full turboback exhaust, boost tube kit, and turbo inlet tube all from Alta. I talked to ADAMSALTAMINI on NAM and he cut me a fantastic deal that I couldn't pass up. It should all be here and on in the next couple weeks!

Yeah I'm really looking forward to the sound and the increased performance from opening the system up. Now Way needs to come up with a good tune or come up here and do a custom one for us and I'll be good to go, haha

Four new runflats? and were did you get them?
Do you think it's going to make a BIG diffence in performance by adding the intake and exhaust system or is it all about the "sound!" I am new to all of this MINI world.
By the way, what else does Casper have under that white sheet?

I got Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals and they are not runflats. I already have the intake and it does let the turbo spool a bit quicker and sound great. If you believe Alta they say with the exhaust and stuff it will get an extra 10-17 horsepower and let the turbo spool faster, hold more boost and flow air better. And again it will of course sound spectacular.

When you get all your stuff on, you'll have to take me for a ride so I can hear what I'm missing!
I like that first picture.. By the way who won the judging contest?
