I'm going to jump right in and introduce myself. My name is Sherrie(minimi) and I'm the proud owner of not 1, but 2, 2007 Mini's. We love the way they handle and we love to drive them. I drive the Mini Cooper S(minimi) and Barry(my other half) drives the Cooper. We've never had cars that were so fun to drive!!!!!

We're glad to have you Ryan. I hope we can meet soon. We will be gathering after the downtown Knoxville parade at Barley's Taproom, probably around 8:30PM, if you have a chance to join us.

Doug and Faith McDaniel here. Just purchased a 2007 Mini from Hendrick Mini in Charlotte. We live in the Fourth and Gill/Old North area of Knoxville. Faith will be registering under her own name, I am rocketsquirrel.
If you need an extra Christmas red Mini with racing stripes for the parade, just let us know.
Had no idea new Minis started under $20k. Love the 6-speed, all the power we need, and only 6 gallons of gas from Charlotte back to Knoxville. Ended up spending around $22k. Faith has wanted one for 25 years, ever since she drove her yellow LeCar with the soft top. Before we got married, she had a Triumph TR6 and I had a Fiat 124 spyder. The mini surpasses all that and more.
We have not yet named her. It may in fact be Faith's alter-ego, Lola. I will check with the boss lady.

Glad to meet you Doug. I think we do have space for one more MINI in the parade if you wish to join us. I'll double check my list. And you are welcome to join us at Barley's. I'm glad to hear you are enjoying your R56. Husband and I both track our MINIs on a regular basis and they are a tremendous amount of fun. You would need to provide an 18ft rope light in a Christmas color and an inverter to light it up. I have the final details from WIVK now and will be posting the info tonight. More about the parade and dinner after here smmcc.proboards31.com/index.cgi?board=events&action=display&thread=1193613711&page=1Ryan, Barley's Tap Room is on Jackson Ave, downtown. There is a slight bit of parking beside Barley's and two pay parking lots close by. I think we will be there by about 8:30. There may be some SMM members there early, who are not going to be in the parade. www.barleystaproom.com/
