I can pie the SAAB, but I don't know if that will get us to the movie. I'll check tomorrow and see if I can get out of work earlyish on Saturday. Kabluey lived up to his name and blew a headgasket(amateur sleuthing indicates this, but I haven't had the head off yet). It's kinda funny when you're looking at an idling four cylinder engine with two sparkplug wires completely disconnected.

No, gimping it uphill at 8 mph would indicate that's not the normal modus operandi. Especially when it was doing 80 up similar hills that morning... I couldn't believe that as I was trying to coax it along the back roads to get to a gas station, that my wagon, operating on two 250cc cylinders was actually being held up by other traffic on the road. I could just about get 35-40 on the flats, but as soon as the road pointed up, it was a challenge not to come to a complete stop.

Double checking, we are meeting for the movie at 5p.m. at the Texaco at the intersection of Watt Road and Kingston Pike, correct?

Yes. Mike McM said it was a Texaco but I didn't know for sure. Whatever gas station is at the corner of Watt Rd and Kingston Pike at the west end of Knoxville is the plan. Meet at 5PM and leave shortly after.
You guys want to drive Casper instead of the SOB?

Cell phone has been recovered, so you can all quit panicking... I really enjoyed what I saw of the drive in movie, but I can't believe they let a semi park in front of all the minis...
