To clarify information about the Boo Run. If you wish to join us for dinner, meet at the Greenbrier Restaurant before 4:30PM on Saturday, October 31st. The menu is HERE. Directions to get there are HERE. If you wish to join us for the BOO Run only, meet at 6:00-6:30PM at the Mountain Bank on the corner of Newman Rd and Hwy 321 toward Cosby. Make sure your decorations can withstand 40 MPH. Bring lots of candy if you wish to "treat" the occupants of Gatlinburg. BOO!

Pumpkin baggies are ready to go with CDs in 'em. I've been digging through the Halloween decs and it looks like the best choice is a return of the Great Pumpkin....again.....sigh!

FEAR NOT!
There is a rain plan:
If rain continues through early afternoon and quits by our scheduled dinner time we will do a group carstuming in the parking lot and then continue as planned.
If rain continues after dinner we will scrap the Parkway run, do the Darkness Run and go to the pub for a warming beverage.

The parkway run is what I look forward too. If it's raining that hard should we not reverse the plan? Some of the roads may have danger at speed in the rain.
Could we do the darkness run on another date if necessary for safety??
Besides. I agree with Mellowyellow. Do you have sufficient room for all the candy donations?

We are trying to dry out by a fire at the hotel. We are hoping the rain ends soon. Is there a place near here to get candy?? We had to forget something...

Donna et al We had a wonderful time despite the rain. It was good to see everyone. We decided to bail on the way back down the Parkway and hat we missed the darkness run but some of us have a very hard time seeing in the dark when it is raining. Getting old is so much fun. I hope that we meet in these parts again soon. Keep in touch. Thank you for doing all you have done for the Boo Run. Art

Although it was great to see our extended MINI family and I enjoyed our time together it is hard to think of that rainy mess as the last BOO! Run. It has NEVER rained on this run. It rained like pouring you know what out of a boot. Dropped Tootsie Rolls were flowing past us along the sidewalk faster than our MINIs could travel. And only six intrepid MINIs made the Darkness Run. This may require a rain check. Stay tuned for Saturday, October 30th, 2010.
